Dear elected representatives and decision-makers, I live in Wentworth Point and I am asking for your help to stop the current Block H proposal (SSD-99885210). This is not a normal planning change. Block H was zoned for 16 and 25 storeys and about 350 homes. It is now a push for two 50-storey towers and 1,200 homes on one block, under the State Significant Development pathway. It is not approved yet — which is why your help now matters. I am writing to each of you together because this decision sits across the State Government, the Planning Minister, the Premier, City of Parramatta councillors and my federal representative. As my representatives, I am asking each of you to stand with residents and fight this: - Will you publicly oppose the current scale? - What specific steps will you take to help residents stop it? - Will you raise it directly with the Planning Minister and the decision-makers who can act? Residents are organising and we want to work with you, not against you. Please tell me clearly what you will do to help. Do you support this scale — yes or no? I live in Wentworth Point. My specific concerns include: - Schools & social infrastructure must be proven The public record shows: - Existing controls of 16 and 25 storeys, around 350 dwellings. - A 2023 DCP amendment proposing about 997 dwellings and two ~40-storey towers. - HDA / SSD material now describing 1,200 dwellings and two 50-storey towers. - The project is at Prepare EIS — this is not final approval. - The 2020 City of Parramatta exhibition received 763 submissions; 491 opposed. - The separate 2023–24 DPHI exhibition recorded 1,130 submissions. 82% of objections were from the local 2127 area; only 32% of support submissions were. - Developer-led information sessions are not formal public exhibition.
